Once porn enters into a marriage and the reality of that is brought to light...we loose sight of what we loved about our husbands in the first place. We focus so much on the negative.  I was challenged by another blog that I read to write down the positive things about my husband.  Anything about him that is beautiful.  Remembering the past, when we first dated, the reasons I married him, the things I love about him and why I am still with him.   So this is a good reminder to self of all the GREAT things about my husband.......

1.  He has allowed his heart to be humbled....

2.  He has committed to the process of the healing of our marriage and helping me with my crazy insceurties.

3.  He wants to be my best friend.

4.  He is leading our family spiritually like never before.

5.  He so willingly helps others when he is aware of a need.

6.  He desires for the men in his life to grow in Christ.

7.  He loves to get together with our friends, does not like to leave anyone out.

8.  He is meeting on a weekly basis for accountablilty.

9.  He is a great provider.

10. He started his own business and after 9 years has done really well.

11. He is very affectionate even after 25 years of marriage.

12.  Love his blue eyes.

13.  He is fun to be around.

14.  Even though he has had a struggle with porn forever it seems ....he has always loved, me never wanting to divorce or..go his own way even when one of his best friends told him that I was the one that needed to just accept his porn or he should leave me....grrr...(thankfully, they are no longer best friends!!!)

15.  Agreed to go to counseling.

16.  Forgave me when I had an affair. NEVER brings it up.

17.  Never wants to miss church

18.  Realizes that his healing has came because of a heart change....and is not afraid to share that OR his struggle with porn if it will help someone else

19.  Great father (now that porn does not control him...used to be distant not emotionally involved much but praise God that has changed and his kids see it!!)

20.  When my mom passed away, he was REALLY there for me.....he could not have handled the situation any better!  He was such a comfort during the really tough days.

21.  He is getting involved in ministry at chuch which is such a blessing ....we are ministering TOGETHER...I have never had that before in our marriage...it's amazing!!

22.  He is handsome....love his smile!

23.  He is a great kisser! :)

24.  He prays for me and with me.

25.  He makes us coffee (almost)every morning. :)

26.  He sends texts to me just to tell me he loves me.

27.  He reads a devotional with me....he tries to do this every night.

28.  He was my high school sweetheart.
29.  He wants us to grow old together and enjoy the grandkids that we will have some day.
