As you grow together, as you mature together...you realize the greatest miracle has taken place in your midst!
When you look at how far you have come over the years...what you, your spouse and Jesus have over come together, you behold beauty like you have never seen before! The trials, difficulties, disappointments, pain, losses, betrayals, and brokenness become a picture of restoration, freedom, healing, grace, deliverance, forgiveness, mercy and hope!
You realize it was only by experiencing those "messy, hurtful, would rather avoid" kind of things that you can NOW testify to the FAITHFULNESS of our God!
He IS our Healer, Deliverer, Redeemer...the God who NEVER gives up on us! He IS the God of the 2nd, 3rd, and umpteenth chance! How do I know? Because I have experienced HIS extravagant LOVE and GRACE first hand! What about YOU?
During challenging days or seasons, it is SO easy to focus on the difficulties and your "mess" so much that you miss the "God" picture that is being beautifully created! Step back, breathe and REFOCUS your attention to the ONE who knows YOU by name! Ecclesiastes 3:11 says that HE HATH MADE EVERYTHING BEAUTIFUL IN IT"S TIME! Everything means EVERY thing! There is not ONE thing that goes untouched by HIS love, mercy and grace!
So what do YOU see? Do you, like me, need to refocus?
Friends, there is NO pit too deep, no sin too great that HE does not redeem as we surrender our mess, our marriages, our spouse, our lives to HIM! He is FAITHFUL!!
Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits-who forgives all your sins, and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion.
Psalm 103:2-4
